My wife and I both have iPads. We liked these cases but couldn't decide on colors so we ended up purchasing one of each color (4 in total)as it's not expensive. Black is mine and pink is my wife's and we use blue and clear ones in rotation. These cases are so fun. The design is absolutely beautiful and they are very practical to put on and off easily without scratching the ipad. It protects the ipad well. There is access for earbuds, charger and buttons. If you're thinking to get one of these, definitely go for it.

I am an AV technician (audio video) for concerts and shows. i am trained to tune the best of sounds out of the highest quality speakers.

I purchased these speakers expecting the least and was very surprised when i installed them.

These speakers sound beautiful. They are comparable to Bose or Alpine. I would most definitely recommend these to a friend.

Many people say that there isn't enough bass in these speakers. A little hint for ya... you cant just turn the bass up in your car and expect chest thumping goodness. You must adjust the mids and the lows and the power going to each hertz setting. These speakers have bass... they have tons of it. you just need to know how to pull it out of them.

So... if you want Bose quality at a low price... i totally recommend to anyone.

I plugged these in and noticed that right out of the box, they sounded like crap. It really depends on the Head Unit you combine these speakers with. If you have a stock head unit in your car, these speakers might not sounds the way you want them. You really need a stereo that will let you tinker around with the graphic equalizer before these speakers will be even able to sound good.

Like anything, this just takes a little getting used to. It's my first MP3 player and I've overall been really happy with it.

An anecdote - one thing I noticed on my player was that you really have to push to get the headphones in all the way. I thought the player was broken as the sound quality was tinny and metallic - I was scouring the internet for hours to see if anyone else had experienced the same problem - I was about to send the thing back. Turns out I simply hadn't pushed the headphone jack in all the way. My friends still haven't let me live that one down...

Pros:
- Extendable memory
- Looks great
- Stopwatch
- FM Radio
- Easy to use menu
- Good display
- Good battery life
- Software easy to install and use
- Armband is good

Cons:
- Headphones are cheap (good enough for running with though as they hook nicely over your ears)
- Stopwatch only shows last two laps and takes a bit of getting used to
- Carry clip needs to be bent into shape otherwise the player will fall out
- USB cover will get lost after two minutes of owning it
- Designed for righties
- Only plays certain file types (it won't accept a lot of the RealPlayer formats - you'll have to use Windows Media format or MP3)

Before I graded the firmware to 1.33 (properly), the player was almost unusable (very poor FM reception). Unfortunately the upgrade instruction from the downloaded firmware file is INCORRECT. Just when I was ready to return it, I called the support line and got the CORRECT instruction to upgrade the firmware which made a HUGE difference. Now the FM reception is as good as my Sony Walman (which is acceptable). Here is the instruction:
1. remove the battery for 20min to drain the power, then reinstall.
2. press and hold the menu button while turning on the power. The display should now show "upgrade".
3. Connect the USB and run the upgrade program.
4. After the player shows "Idle", disconnect the USB. It will now turn off itself.
5. Turn on and reconfigure the player.

Note: this upgrade procedure will erase all user settings.

It gets a 4 star, because it still shuts down from time to time. Hopefully it won't get worse. (...).

Rio 90260558 Review by sure_shot (Phoenix, AZ)

I've spent about 4 days with a 256mb Forge, and find the features better than any other player. I wanted an iRiver flash player, but have an investment in SD cards from my Palm T3. I like the quality and software that I've experienced with an iRiver and this is my first Rio of any kind. My final decision is why pay the same for an iRiver when this has the same memory, but I can add SD cards?

I wont go into the obvious details; the product description does that.

The contoured shape is interesting and sometimes I'm not sure how to hold it. The D-pad controls seem to be better than the iRiver, not having ever held the iRiver, but its very PDA-like. Running on a AAA battery, the unit is incredibly small and delivers a claimed 20hrs. Its a trade off for the iRivers AA battery claim of 40. I haven't needed to change the battery yet, but it is definitely on track to reaching that claim.

I listen to recorded radio shows like Howard Stern and require the resume features in any player. The same requirement would be for Audible users I would imagine. The resume features are excellent. By default, it remembers the track and location at every shutdown. You can also create 10+ bookmarks for various locations.

The build quality is only OK. It looks good in pictures; solid, made of metal. In reality, its not the most durable handheld device I own. In addition, the flashy chrome looks good, but is distracting trying to read the already curvy, reflective screen. I find myself changing the angle to see the screen trying to avoid reflections. I'm also concerned the chrome will peel off in a few months.

The backlight is great; a nice even white while lighting up the controls in red. I like blue backlights, but this is a nice change for a modern look. The UI is great also, very much like my iPod, especially for such a small screen. Apple has forced manufacturers to make usablility much better.

I have had 3 issues so far:

1. Once it calaimed that my 512mb Lexar was full when it was far from it. I attribute it to the dual purpose use with a Palm PDA, so I formatted it for a clean filesystem. No problems since.

2. Occaisionally, it would reset itself, and lose my place in my track. I think is that the battery is not tight enough in the compartment, disconnecting power with a moderate bump. I stretched the spring a bit for a tighter fit. That should fix it.

3. It would not recognize the device on a Windows XP SP2 machine, but was recognized on a SP1 machine, so that may be a SP2 issue.

Overall, I would recommend it if you like the features. That is exactly why I'm willing to work through the small issues. There is nothing else that matches it feature for feature for the money.

This transformer does the job. Just make sure the equipment you are using does not need more than about 100-150 watts. (If you need more watts, there are other models from the same company I think).

Also, I don't think this transformer takes care of the AC frequency: if you use it in the US for European equipment, it will give you 220 V at 60 Hz, not 50 Hz. You have to check with you equipment if that's fine.

So far the mattress is oK. We use it for camping. The only complaint I would have is that you should check it every 24 hours for firmness. It seems to just deflate automatically. It doesn't go completely flat, it just gets softer. It was very convenient when I hurt my hip. I could not get into my bed so this was very useful and comfortable. I would recommend it.

This is my 3rd purchase of an Aerobed. The mattress with the built in pump is a fantastic improvement over the older models, but the carrying case/bag is thin and cheap. The original bags were made of heavy duty vinyl, and this one was torn to shreds by the airline on my first trip. I recommend that Aero returns to the original vinyl bag, and then I will improve my rating of this product.

I bought this to go w/ my easy to use pop up tent (also thru Amazon). It was so nice to go camping and be set up in minutes so we could begin enjoying ourselves. I loved being able to turn it on and walk away. I read a lot of good reviews about Aerobeds & I chose this one b/c of the built in pump. I'm usually pretty good about keeping the pump w/ the bedding, but every so often they were not together and its no fun hunting the pump down when you haven't seen it since last yr, or when you do find it, it's not charged. This is no longer an issue. I don't know when we'll go camping next, so the only thing I did when I brought this home was take the batteries out and put them in the bag it comes with so I didn't ruin the built in pump by letting batteries go bad in it. I did notice after 1 night I had to pump it up a little more after 2 of us slept on it. But no big deal, just hit the on switch and fluff it up.

I've had this bag for almost 7 months now and I can tell the quality is not so good. It looks like I've been using it for longer than 7 months. The sides are tearing and the zipper "handle" fell off (but that I fixed by adding a key chain).
But i really liked it before, it is very pretty and very roomy (I particularly love the fact that it doesn't have compartiments inside).
I never used any of the accessories, but maybe that's just me.
Bottom line, I'm still using this bag, and probably will until it gets useless. But won't buy this brand again.

I needed to access an IDE hard drive from an old computer. I plugged my hard drive into this unit, powered it up and plugged it into my USB port and it fired right up. Windows 7 recognized it right away and all my files were accessible. I've had problems in the past with some 2.5" laptop IDE to USB adapters, but this 3.5" works great. The unit itself is a little on the big size, but it has a nice look to it. There are many other units that cost much more money, but from my brief experience with this, I highly recomemnd it.

I bought this to utilize the hard drive from an old computer that died. The old hard drive fits well into the case, but I had a little trouble arranging the ribbon connector to the USB adapter board. If the case had about 1/2" extra space internally, it would be perfect. All in all, the device works well and data transfers are smooth.

60 seconds to install - this fit my car and through 1 rain they work great. Exact match/fit as OEM driver's side.

UPDATE 4/19: I had this item rated 5 stars - not now. I had replaced my original one because it had worn and caused a 1 inch streak from the middle of the blade on the down stroke for the whole wiper range. I bought these, they worked great for about 2 weeks, now guess what - they are doing almost the exact same thing my original worn wipers are doing - on the down stroke, from the middle of the wiper blade (where the connecting arm meets) it leaves a 1" wide streak the entire windshield on the downstroke. Very annoying. It's exactly in the middle of your vision. This appears to be a very common problem with these cars, so if you came here for a fix to that - keep looking.

We have the 26" on one vehicle and the 22" on another and they are all superior to any other blade we have used. They are quiet, even with a dry or almost dry windshield and clear the windshield in the heaviest downpour. They don't lift or streak in heavy crosswinds or at highway speeds. We do not yet have long term service with these blades but we have had a set in use for a year, they still preform like new. (We keep the cars in the garage when not in use, which probably helps.)

Delivery was reasonably quick and the price was reasonable. Occasionally Amazon puts these blades on sale with exceptionally good pricing and free delivery!

Works as advertised - nothing fancy. I purchased this because of its minimal styling and affordable price. I've been using it for a few months now with no complaints. The quality of the build appears to be good, but not great. For home use, it seems perfectly OK.

The only complaint I've had is that the sealing washer on the pump was deformed. It's not a critical part (keeps the pump "snug" in the base). I replaced it with an o-ring from the hardware store and it works fine.

This is an excellent soap dispenser. It has a nice brushed finish and operates smoothly. It does not include a gasket between the base and the sink. If you want a gasket, a Target Rx bottle color ring (large size) fits perfectly. I previously bought another dispenser at a home store, but it was so ugly that I replaced it with this one that has a clean simple design. This dispenser delivers a significant quantity of soap with the slightest depression. It is an excellent value for a high quality product. Highly recommended.

When you order, if you only order the 5100 cross pool pole set that's what you'll get. You have also got to order the 5100 reel set. Picture is fine so you know what reel set to order, but the web site needs to add some text to clear it up. Could upset patrons when they get only a pole that does no good without the reel set. However I have a darn nice 3" pool cross pole. Ordered the reel set. This could have been worded differently, but it may have been offensive to some, so my only recommendation is "just order both items". I only have a 3" pool cross pole so I can't comment on the whole system at this time. Hopefully it does a good job for its intended purpose so I want be forced into descriptive adjectives in the back yard trying to get the cover off.

I originally ordered the 4" version of the pole to make sure I don't experience any sagging. I've read other forums where people have complained about sagging in 3" poles (from other products). Unfortunately, Amazon was not able to deliver the 4" and I had to order this 3" version. I'm glad to report that I saw no noticeable sagging when reeling in my 16x34 12mil cover.

I took 1 star off for the way this pole interconnects. The pole comes in 3 sections, with the middle section having a larger diameter so that the other 2 sections can slide in. Once the desired length has been adjusted for, the sections are screwed together. I think the diameter of the middle section should be made smaller to reduce the slack. It seems like without the screws, it would be easy to loose the grip between the connection.
They should have provided another internal "solid" core for the connections to prevent the tube from collapsing when tightening the screws. This would prevent the tube from deforming and make it more structurally sound.

Tip: When drilling the tube to screw the connections in place, make sure you have twisted the tubes tightly to avoid any movement. Once you have drilled the first one hole and drilling the opposite side, make sure the first holes are still aligned. Before moving on to drill the next set of holes, insert and tighten the first screw to avoid problems in the next set.

I purchased this table to use with the Winsome walnut nesting tables and am not disappointed. The table does have a spot on the bottom shelf from a knot in the wood but it does not distract much from the appearance (hence the four instead of five stars). Construction is very solid and the finish is good. Assembly is pretty easy if you follow the instructions as written and the table looks very expensive and rich. I will probably add a protective polyurethane coat on the top just for added protection. I think this is a great table for the price.

Coming from a Chinese family, this rice cooker does the job right. Rice is cooked in 20 mins, vs 45 mins, a record (long) time held by the Sanyo rice cooker I used to own.

The plastic steam basket, given the size of the rice cooker, is small. It's good for 3-4 buns.

The only point that keeps me from rating it 5 stars, is the top lid, which is hard to clean.

These were awesome sheets coming out of the packaging and after a few washes they lost a little of their original softness. The one-star drawback for me was that they were marketed as deep fitting sheets. I found that not to be the case. These sheets on my 15" Cal King mattress are fully stretched to the corners with the sides not making it. At best, they were covering 75% of the mattress sides. Notice in the description that they don't identify what size mattress it can cover. I would guess no more than 12" by my experience.

After receiving my order of sheets, I washed them once and they are stiff and a rough. I can't understand how 500 thread count can be rough? Now reading other reviews of the product, I can now see that customers noticed the same that I did. The sheets are very thick compared to my 320 thread count sheets. I belive they are misleading people with the thread count advertised. I researched on Wikiapedia regarding the subject, and thread count is a measure of the coarseness or fineness of fabric. It is measured by counting the number of threads contained in one square inch of fabric, including both the length (warp) and width (weft) threads. It is used especially in regard to cotton linens such as bed sheets.

Thread count is a simple measure of fabric quality, so that "standard" cotton thread counts are around 150 while good-quality sheets start at 180 and a count of 200 or higher is considered percale. Extremely high thread counts (typically over 500) tend to be misleading as they usually use 'plied' yarns. i.e. one yarn that is made by twisting together multiple finer threads. For marketing purposes, a fabric with 250 yarns in both the vertical and horizontal direction could have the component threads counted to a 1000 thread count although "according to the National Textile Association, which cites the international standards group ASTM, accepted industry practice is to count each thread as one, even threads spun with two- or three-ply yarn. The Federal Trade Commission agrees and recently issued a warning that consumers 'could be deceived or misled' by inflated thread counts."[1]

I belive this to be true as the sheets are very thick and warm to there credit but not soft!!!

The Everpure EV9000 chrome drinking water faucet provides a nice finished detail to the Everpure water filtration system. The chrome finish is nicely done and the faucet stops water flow immediately with no lingering drips like other systems.

PROS
-Detail and finish should last a lifetime
-Rotating discharge tube makes it easy to fill large and small containers
-Stops water flow with no drips

CON
-The lower mounting washer is not notched (C-shaped) like other systems. Installation requires the faucet to be mounted to the countertop, then the washer and retaining nut installed from below. Finally the water connection is made below the countertop. This can be a tight fit on certain sinks, where as a notched washer allows the pre-assembled faucet, water tube and mounting nut to be dropped in from the above the countertop.

I am a contractor and could not find a filtered water faucet to go with the trim in the kitchen I am working on. After going to two plumbing supply houses I turned to the net. BINGO this faucet is great, it's a little pricey. After I opened the box I found out why, it is very well made with a nice finish. Worth every bit of $122.00

This contraption is fine, works ok, as intended, a bit awkward to store and use -- the "legs" don't slide very easily. I just wish it were larger. I got it to replace a plastic colander/strainer that was large enough to cover most of one side of my sink. The only problem with it was that the holes in the bottom did not readily release the water because there was too much solid surface between them. I knew a wire-mesh surface would work better, and it does, but this basket covers only half of my sink space. Why on earth doesn't someone make a strainer that covers the whole space? A head of Romaine lettuce barely fits in this basket. We need an over-sink strainer that would hold a head of Romaine, PLUS a couple of bell peppers, a big stalk of broccoli, and an entire bunch of celery.

I bought this colander because I wanted one that would suspend itself across my sink. It does that very nicely.

I've only got a couple of minor complaints:

The interior ends of the arms tend to hit each other whenever the arms are pushed back into the strainer. Maybe the arms weren't intended to be flush with the sides when the thing's not in use, I dunno, but it bothers me that they seem to overlap by half an inch. No big deal.

The fine mesh (which was another reason why I picked this model) is so fine that it's a little bit hard to clean. When stuff gets in lodged in one of the holes, you're not going to be able to get your finger in there to get it out. You might be able to get a toothpick in there. I'm thinking I'll have to get a wire brush or something to clean it more quickly. Still, I'd rather have to work harder to clean this mesh than watch my spaghetti noodles slide out of larger holes.

It's big. Actually, that was yet another selling point for me, but it's so big that it's kind of hard to maneuver it under the faucet for cleaning.

Finally, my only real complaint with this thing: The band around the top traps food inside it. The band loops around the mesh to give it a finished edge, and it's open on the bottom so you'd think gravity might keep stuff out, but somehow food always manages to find its way in there.

The strainer is plenty big (could probably fit four pounds of pasta in there), the small mesh is wonderful, and the fact that I can leave it suspended over the sink makes working in the kitchen much easier. All in all it's a great product, I just wish it was a little easier to keep clean.

We bought this Feb. 2008 for $16 as part of the buy 3, get 1 free promo. This stainless steel strainer expands to hang from a tradtional dual split kitchen sink (for lack of a better description).

Our intent was to replace our plastic collander with stainless steel (getting rid of all plastics in the house due to "toxins"- just playing it safe). The bonus is that because it hangs from your sink, we now have extra space to put glasses to dry w/o dripping water onto countertops!

It's functional, attractive (if you care), and makes a great addition to any kitchen. You can get one for roughly the same price at Kohl's (maybe less, if on sale), however if you buy it w/ the Amazon promo. then it's a way better deal online. See my ordering tip below:

Ordering tip: if you're going to buy a bunch of items, split them in separate orders and put all the lower priced items together so you can get (at least) one of the more expensive items for free. By doing so, I got one $18 item free, instead of two $3.99 items free. Of course, just make sure both shipments are more than $25 for free S&H. I just made sure I bought some other needed items that weren't part of the promo! These 4-for-3 deals are AWESOME, especially when combined w/ FREE S&H and no sales tax! Way to go Amazon!

The thermometer works pretty well. The probe was accurate within two or three degrees, and the infrared was accurate within two degrees. It's easy and fun to use. The only change I would suggest is that the probe would read the temperature quicker because it takes upwards of 10 seconds to get a stable reading.

I bought this a year ago. Since then it's been left too close to the grill and partially melted. At one point it was left outside in the rain (next to the grill, again!) for two weeks. None of this has affected the usability of this great thermometer. It was still working when I brought it in, but I left it in a bowl of rice for a day to clear out the moisture in the display.

I find myself using the metal probe more often than the laser. When the instructions call for an internal temperature of 160 degrees, there is no guesswork. I was surprised at how often I would have taken the food out too early before I had the thermometer. I highly recommend having a thermometer on hand, and this one has been great for me.

I will never buy Nordic Ware again. This pan is a joke. I tested it with water and it leaks everywhere. There is no way that the bundt or
the regular pan could hold batter long enough to bake. I am glad that I tested this with water and not in my new oven. Anyone who pours
batter into this thing is going to have it everywhere. I plan to return this item a.s.a.p.

I will never buy Nordic Ware again. If this is an example of the products they produce then I want no part of it.

Yes, this pan WOULD be a good value if you could use both parts of the pan, BUT! This pan leaks. It's perfectly fine for the springform pan part (for cheesecakes), but don't even try to use it for a bundt pan. The pan leaks horribly, and doesn't brown correctly. Imagine this....a perfectly baked pound cake in the oven, and when you're ready to pop out the cake, you turn it over just to find a pale unattractive cake. This occurs even when baked on the lowest rack in the oven. I tried it multiple times with multiple recipes (and yes, I'm a very experienced baker), and on almost all occasions, it leaked and came out incredibly pale (And pale means it doesn't have that yummy caramelization!). Yes, you could probably use this pan for Angel Food cakes (because you don't really want it brown anyways), but you probably wouldn't want to because angel food cakes need a NON-nonstick surface in order to rise extremely high. Also, the material is very flimsy - it has the same feel of the 3-springforms-for-$9.99-from-WalMart pans. Save yourself the money and buy a good springform and a good bundt.

I have owned this item for over 6 years now, and it still works as well as the day I bought it. I use it almost every morning to keep my coffee or tea hot, and in the afternoon to keep my water cold. Under both conditions it insulates for hours, eliminating the need to 'chug' your coffee while it's still warm (I hate cold coffee!). I recommend this for anyone looking for the best insulated travel mug around!

When I first received the insulated travel mug, I was extremely pleased! It kept my coffee piping hot just like everyone said. I always preheated it with hot water before pouring my coffee in. I even bought a second one as a gift for my son who as a NY lawyer is always running from courthouse to courthouse and loves a hot cup of coffee while in the car.
Then the problem started after a few months. One day while drinking, I noticed that a jelly-like substance was in my coffee hours later. YUCK! Where did that come from??? I spilled my coffee out. Same thing happened the next day. And the day after. I couldn't figure out what was going on. I scrubbed and scrubbed it and poured boiling water into it and watched it and finally discovered the disgusting problem with this product that I formerly loved. All of a sudden there was a thin stream of milky liquid coming out of the inner (thermal) seal and mixing with the water. It turns out there was a tiny pinhole leak in the seal of the mug insulation. My coffee and creamer had been leaking behind the seal for months and turning into that DISGUSTING GEL AND MIXING WITH THE COFFEE I WAS DRINKING!!! GROSS!!!!!!! DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU LIKE OLD GELATINOUS SUBSTANCES IN YOUR HOT BEVERAGES!!!!

The Nissan 18-Ounce Stainless steel insulated travel tumbler is my daily companion on my way to work and often at work. It keeps my coffee hot for hours. Sometimes if I take too big of a sip I still burn my mouth an hour or more after pouring it. However, the mug always has a way of tipping over, and the lid is definitely not leakproof. This is by far the most prone-to-tip over mug that I've ever used regularly.

I am going to purchase the leakproof one with the handle and give that a try and see if I can enjoy hot coffee without the mess. I think that I would recommend you go with the leakproof one as well.

I've owned the TravelRest Travel Pillow for about a year now and was super excited when I saw this cover for it. Its super soft and fits great! It's a bit hard to put on but once on you're set, also I can just throw it in the washer, keeping my travel pillow clean and in great shape.

I love the concept of the TravelRest pillow. I love the design, love how it works, everything. But I wasn't a fan of how it felt against my skin, so I bought this cover. Guess what? It's no better. Instead of being a soft, smooth surface, it's rough to the touch, and grabs onto your fingers. It's exactly the kind of thing you don't want touching your face if it's been more than 3-4 hours since you shaved (and, let's face it, that happens all too often when you're traveling).

Simply put, many of you are probably familiar with the fact that there's a good kind of microfiber, and a bad kind of microfiber. This one is definitely the latter. It's going back to Amazon tomorrow.

EDIT: I sent a similar message to the manufacturer via their website, and was pleasantly surprised to get a call from them the next day. And it wasn't just some drone in a cubicle - it was the inventor's wife! She said that they had heard similar complaints from others, and that she herself wasn't thrilled with some of the materials they were using. They're investigating new materials, but are limited because of the unusual shape - apparently it's hard to find a material that will allow them to use this shape and still provide the quality they require. While the review stands, I will throw in a couple extra stars for excellent customer service, and listening to their customers.

This cover is soft and provides a nice alternative to the "naked" travel pillow. It must, of course, be placed on the pillow while it is deflated, but you can then simply leave it on when you deflate and roll up the pillow. It also is much easier to clean or replace than the pillow would be, when you inevitably dump your airline chicken cordon bleu on it.

This is, without exaggeration, the greatest knife ever made. I have some decent enough knives that I've used before (Sabatier), but this makes my other chef's knife look like an idiot. It is so effortless to use, and such a pleasure. Seriously, your food will practically cut itself with this knife. Your vegetables will part themselves, and the fat will slice itself away from your meats. I've always loved chopping food, ever since I learned how, but this raises the act from an enjoyable necessity past hobby and into the realm of culinary bliss.

This knife is sharp, slices and chops anything I have thrown at it, and with a couple passes on a honing tool it stays sharp. It feels great using it and the handle has a nice curve in it that fits well in my hand. Needless to say, Wusthof has a lifetime customer in me and I have started building a set blade by blade. I purchase this for my 4 year old daughter as something to put on her white bed.. She loves it.. As for me the comforter being reversible is GREAT and gives her something to be excited about.. It is extremely soft and warm. Does well in the washer and dryer. I do recommend if you don't have a washer or dryer that can wash comforters I would suggest using a laudry mate.. This will last her a very long time well at least till she gets into another cartoon..

I bought two of these, and the matching sheets, for my 5 yr old daughters new bunk beds. The comforters are very cute and bright, and my daughter loves Hello Kitty and Peace signs so they were a big hit (and surprise) for her bday. The fabric is not great or the most comfy, but fine for a kid. The nice thing is that the comforter is not too thin or too heavy. The fact that they are reversible is a plus...though, we've kept them on the bright pink side because the color adds to the room. The only complaint that I have is that the comforter is a little big for the top bunk (because there is no overhang, everything has to tuck in... but there is really no way to fix that if the comforter is to fit any twin bed. They look really cute in my daughters room against the white bunk bed frames, and everyone who comes into her room oohs and ahhs about how adorable it looks. Definitely a good buy! Especially since Hello Kitty can stick with them into their tween or even teen years.

New Parrot Bird Cage Plays W/stand on Wheels 20x20x58, Black Review by C. Elmoghazy

This is the largest of the 4 cages I bought from this seller and we are completly satisfied with this purchase. We purchased this cage for 2 quakers and there is not only enought for them but room for their toys. I had priced cages at the local pet store and was shocked that I could not only get a bigger cage but more cage for the money with this seller.
Assembly was not as fast as the other three that we had to put together but that may be because we were putting 4 cages together at the same time.
This cage is heavy and that is a good thing because when the quakers start flying around and jumping around, there is no worry that they will move their cage around like they did in the other cage.
The stand is also a nice touch and we can move them around with ease.
If you are looking for a nice large cage at a great price, this is the cage for you

Took a chance and was not disappointed. Well crafted, finished and functional. Was last minute birthday gift for wife and could not find an appropriate, well made and attractive dresser top jewelry box anywhere. This fit the bill perfectly and she was very happy (and a happy wife = happy husband). The flip up upper tray is a nice touch. Have yet to engrave the box top brass plate but will soon.

I bought this coffee table along with the Strathwood three-seat patio sofa, and I am very happy with it. It arrived already assembled and in perfect condition and QUICKLY. I think it was two days between ordering it and its arrival (sofa took longer). The table takes up a lot of space, though, and I wish I'd done a better job measuring our porch for it. It fits, but it cuts it close. I also wish the corners were more curved. They're 90 degree angles and kind of sharp. We got it so we could entertain our extended family outside, and that family includes a lot of little kids. We bought foam "bumpers" for the corners when they're over, and they look awful, but I'm nervous about one of the kids falling and hurting him/herself on the sharp corners. Overall very happy with it though!

This flatware is perfect for me. It shows good on a well dressed table as well as a breakfest counter. I've seen this set at my local Macy's many times over the past 4 years,the price was high and I was unable to afford it at the time. My only issue is the storage box,the one I received is a heavy weight(good) black plastic storage box. It should have been a cherry wood chest as shown in the picture and the one at Macy's. The cherry wood chest makes a more elegant presentation to this beautiful set. I can always purchase the cherry wood chest independant of the flatware another time through Amazon. I bought this stereo to listen at work. The sound is clear, mixes come through clean, and the features are perfect. Favorite feature is the "mixing" input, which lets you have your computer sound come out through the stereo along with any selected source. The FM Tuner is fantastic, AM reception is alright. Having a built-in AM antenna is nice (most micro-stereos don't have one) so I can listen to AM, but I can't get the stations I want. FM reception is clear, and the sound reproduction from the FM Tuner is very good, as good as FM gets. FM reception is much better on this stereo than anything else I own, including Yamaha home stereos, Panasonic and Sony mini systems. The Model Two is very well built, and performs as expected.

The speakers don't blow you away, but rather sound very "nice". There are no obvious dips and peaks in the frequency response, like so many other small systems. Listening for hours on end to many different types of music is not fatiguing. The stereo separation is amazing, especially if you spread the speakers out.

This stereo works great with my iPod. I use the dock, and an 1/8" to 1/8" connecting cable. You can use the headphone jack, but the dock's line out sounds much better to discerning ears.

There is a subwoofer output, very handy. The subwoofer output is really a "pre-amp" output, controlled by the volume control and both the left and right channels appear discreetly. This raises a couple of issues, the sub-output is not filtered, meaning it contains all the audio frequencies, secondly, it is not buffered, which means if you plug in a mono cable, or combine the outputs using a Y cable, the sound from the main speakers will be adversely affected. Just make sure your subwoofer has separate left and right line-level inputs, and preferably a cross-over adjustment. Note: Avoid the Tivoli Model Subwoofer, it is underwhelming, sounds sloppy and makes very little bass. I use a KLH subwoofer that I purchased for the same price and that works much better.

The Tivoli makes the Bose that it replaces sound like a tin can. We chose this product after reading other customer reviews (where can you go to actually LISTEN any more?), and couldn't be happier. Key points:

* No FM drift; you tune it, it locks in, and that's it.

i purchased this because the tivoli one radio i had was fine, sounded great, but was underpowered for the room it was in and lacking stereo. problem solved. for small to medium-sized rooms, this is a great-sounding, great-looking yet unobtrusive way to get high-quality music.

the strengths of this table radio/stereo are the sound quality, FM receiver strength, and the appearance. the sound that comes out of these two small boxes is clean, resonant, full, and completely satisfying - it's really hard to believe how good it is given how small these things are. there are a number of table radios that generate quality sound. for example, cambridge soundworks, bose, polk audio all make very fine all-in-one units that all have surprisingly robust, full, high-quality sound. None of them can duplicate the stereo separation you get with the tivoli two. it makes a huge difference in the sound quality. Whether I use this to enhance the sound from a TV or for music, i'm amazed that i'm listening to a small table stereo, not a component system. does it have the depth and power of a component system? nope, but none of the music options in this size/price category do. if you are looking for a stronger low end, you might want the matching sub-woofer, which costs extra. i haven't even considered it and don't know how it affects the sound. compared to a cambridge soundworks 88 we own, which has a substantial built-in bass speaker, i think this system has better sound overall, but the cambridge does have a somewhat stronger low.

The FM receiver is excellent, better if you use a half-decent external antenna. unlike digital systems, it's easier to find smaller stations because the dial tuning allows small incremental adjustments.

if you care about appearance, this is head and shoulders better than comparably-priced systems - all of which cost more and are made of plastic. the two speaker boxes are solid, made of real wood, and have a simple, retro look - dials and knobs, not digital.

the features are good but not a completist's dream - this clearly cannot serve as an awesome-sounding alarm clock/table radio like many of its one-box competitors. on the other hand, it sounds substantially better than most more-expensive tabletop systems that have separate speakers.

It has FM, AM, auxiliary input and subwoofer output, and it can mix in music if you run your computer audio through it; a separate (and pricy) matching CD player; it can run on DC power, which means you could take it on a boat or extended foreign travel. It does not have a remote control, an ipod dock, a built-in CD player, a clock, an alarm clock, or a built-in bass speaker. if you need to have remote control capability but like this sound, you can either get an apple infrared dock and remove, so you can stop the music and control volume via remote, or you can network it to your computer and play music wirelessly, via an Apple Airport. These simple work-arounds could be for any music system.

I got this drink mixer for my boyfriend for his birthday. He always has cravings for milkshakes so he will usually go to a fast food place and get one, which isn't real ice cream and just loaded with sugar. So I decided to get him this with some homemade ice cream from a dairy bar near my home. He absolutely loved it. He likes peanut butter so I got him a peanut butter swirl ice cream and the mixer was able to handle the peanut butter as well as my chocolate chips from my mint chocolate chip ice cream. The mixer comes with a recipe book on not just milkshakes but cocktails and frozen mixed drinks. We haven't tried them all yet but they sound really yummy. It did take us a while to figure out the right milk to ice cream ratio but if its too milky just add more ice cream its really not rocket science to use.

My only con is that you have to make sure you put a paper towel down cause there is nothing to catch the ice cream stick to the mixer when you take the cup off to pour. It makes a bit of a mess. Its really not that quiet either it sounds like any moral blender.

Right from the get-go this pressure frying pan worked great. I felt sort of on my own because there aren't a lot of pressure frying recipes out there. But I am an experienced pressure cooker user so I felt fairly confident jumping in. One of my favorites is slow-roasted tomatoes, 2 hours or so in the oven - 7 minutes in the PC frying and I couldn't tell the difference. A beautiful job of frying potatoes, 5 minutes prep, 2-3 minutes browning potatoes, 5 minutes PC and you're ready to go. In other words you can brown and pressure cook with oil with this pan and when you add water, you add a lot less than with a regular PC. it's a well-made unit which you would expect for the price.

Those are the pros, the cons:

Instruction book inferior like many from Europe. Almost nothing about the frying pan and I find some of the suggested times to be a bit off too. Recipe book mixes in a few frying pan recipes with regular PC recipes which makes them hard to find. They need a separate frying pan instruction book and separate recipes for FP.

There is a little safety valve which comes unattached to the top. Difficult to find clear instructions on how to attach and once attached has a tendency to fall off. Poor design.

because of 'dimpled' bottom of FPPC no trivet is included as with other KR PC's.( Dimpled bottom supposedly acts as a trivet.) But some of FP recipes call for a trivet so it should be included.

Kuhn Rikon 3346 Review by Heidi U. (CA United States)

I've had a the 2L model for four years, and never had to replace any parts. I left that one at my second home so I will never be without one, and just purchased this 2.5L here. What seems like a loose screw on top is a simple, responsive and sturdy pressure release valve. The plastic handles would only melt if one were using a flame that extends beyond the sides of the pan. By heating it up at medium heat and reducing it to extra low once full pressure is reached, the flame will be nowhere near the sides of the pan, especially on this wider 2.5L model. This takes only a couple of minutes so I see no need for a roaring flame. Dual handles allow you to move the pan while hot, or hold it to run cool water from the tap over the edges for immediate pressure release when desired. The base is very thick so there is no burning of contents. The steam inside reduces all sticking and the lid comes off quite clean. I have electric rice cookers but almost always use the Kuhn Rikon instead because it is much faster and the texture of the rice is better. Only 25 minutes for brown rice, 5 minutes for white.

Because of the really high cost and all the hype the about these pans you would think they were constructed out of gold. But they aren't. The gasket material is fragile, The fit is not very good and the handles don't even have metal inserts where they attach to the lid. (the heat differential between the lid and handle causes movement and stress the pulls the screws out of the handle and because the material crumbles you require a new handle at $16 plus shipping every 2 years of regular use or so. The lousy lid screws just self tap into the bakelite handle which almost guarantees they will fail. The other pressure cookers I own like the Fagor do have inserts and the lid handle has never failed on that cooker. I am on my second handle in 4 years with the Kuhn Rikon.
Other things that failed on this pan were the top finishing plate (plastic snap on fitting broke), and the gasket twice (KH says this is normal).
Looking on the web one can see I am not alone. There are handles, gaskets, and spare parts in many sites. They are not cheap either. I guess the steel used in the pot is OK It has never failed but it seems every thing else has in the four years I have used this. Comparing it to the 5L Fagor which I use for large meals probably more often than the KR, the engineering in the KH is really inferior. The score for maintenance over 4 years is Fagor $0.00 vs Kuhn Rikon $80. You'd think the Swiss could design something better. This is my last KH product. The Fagor line is 1/3 the price.

I bought this stand based on reviews and the relative lower cost. What I did not appreciate was that while the reviews are correct, that it is very well built, it is not very adjustable. My mix of two sizes of monitors (18.5 X 15 and 21.5 X 13)could not be accomodated without a large gap between the two 18.5 X 15 monitors. The 21.5 X 13 monitors are really too wide for it. They fit only when pushed back and not angled either side to side or down.

The issue here is that there is no way to adjust the spacing horizontally between the monitors - that is fixed.

So, I will replace it with a more expensive model that does have horizontal adjustment capability. In the mean time, I use it to hold the two wide monitors on top and the the two narrower ones sit on their own stands below.

for $99, it is hard to beat this stand. many stands cost triple and this one does its job. i had no trouble installing four new monitors onto the stand and was able to even do it myself (without someone holding the monitors while i screwed them in). another reviewer mentioned not being able to move horizontally. it is true that you can't move the bracket on the arm. but you can change the angle of the arms. this allows horizontal adjustment. nevertheless, for this stand, one is much better off using monitors of the same size. for that purpose, it works very well.

I purchased this drive 4 months ago and even though I am being very careful to disconnect the USB cable whenever I put the drive in my computer bag to avoid bending, the connector got loose and I do have issues now that the hard drive goes off when plugged to my macbook; I have to make sure it is on and not touch it even slightly. Disappointed that I will have to replace it and that it has such a weak connector. I can't recommend this drive as it becomes unreliable for backup.

For the most part the construction of the bag feels sturdy, but the left shoulder strap is starting to tear by the seams.

Do not get this bag if you need a lot of space. The compartments are very tight and does not leave much room besides 1 thin text book, 1 small notebook, and my 15.4 Dell laptop (which barely fits btw).

Overall: decent, but not great.

having come to the US, a month back i needed a really good backpack to carry lunch, laptop and other office accesories and books.

after searching a lot, i found this great deal on amazon.

I tried to get a cheaper bag at walmart for 20 buks, but the feel and quality was not right..

for 38$ trust me this bag is a steal, i have had no complaints so far and it was shipped in a huge box, safely by amazon..

20-30 pockets here and there is jus amazing if u like micro managing and they are good quality.
the padding for laptop is amazing am sure u can throw the backpack aroud with in and still nthng would affect the laptop. though my 15.4 dell xps m1530 gets fully padded protection on its top part. its not bothersome as the bag itself is well padded.

No qualms at all for 38$ i feel this bag is a steal!!

not big enuff for 15.4 inch laptops.....

The unit is well built, the 140mm fan is too quiet, very nice cable management inside a Cooler Master COSMOS computer case. The main cables come along with a 24 pin connector, 6/8 pin CPU connector and 2 PCI-E, even though the 6-8 pin connector for the CPU power was a little short in comparison to what I had (Silverstone OP1000-E, really good PSU also)but it worked well. It has several molex cables, PCI-E with 6 pin and 8 pin connectors for the newest video cards. The PSU is 80 PLUS certified, 5 year warranty if registered and supports SLI/Crossfire with no problems. The price of the product is really good compared with other PSU around the market. I would recommend it.

I had purchased several of these scanners for use in an office. The scanner is perfect, and a bargain for its performance, if you are using a 32 bit version of windows. Be aware however that the i40 does not support 64 bit versions of windows 7. I subsequently acquired a pair of Kodak i1220 scanners for my 64 bit windows 7 machines because of my good experience with the i40 and they are absolutely amazing and perform flawlessly. In the course of setting it up I had contacted Kodak product support several times to deal with a problem caused by interaction with my anti-virus program and got the best service I ever experienced from a computer company.

I bought this printer as a supplement to my HP OfficeJet 5610 All-in-One. The Samsung ML-1630 laser is a very quiet monochrome laser printer. Print quality is excellent for text. Also the price per page for text is very reasonable. Printer is very quiet and prints text pages quickly.

Only mediocre for printing graphic images (such as coins) that are colored. The change to gray-scale comes out a little dark.

Pros: Very small foot-print, very good looking printer, low cost per page.
Cons: Color graphics come out dark when converted to gray-scale.

I agree with other reviewers - this little printer is sleeker looking on your desk than in the photos. It's quiet and prints very quickly (especially compared to my old ink jet). I am a full-time PhD student and often print 30+ page articles or drafts of papers - what a time saver! I haven't been able to tell how long the ink cartridge lasts yet - but hopefully longer than ink jets. Overall, a great little printer - sleek design, love the blue LED lights, prints quickly and quietly. Don't hesitate!

It's small, it's sleek and fairly quiet. Of all the printers I have had in the past, this is certainly the best. It hasn't let me down yet, and based on the other Samsung products I own, I don't foresee it doing so anytime soon. The only gripes I could see anyone having is the fact that the paper tray is smaller than most other printers. It doesn't bother me, but it may bother those who would prefer a larger tray. But that is all I can think of, I love this printer!

I was very cautious in buying this appliance after reading the past reviews and comments made by others. I bought the device for my mom who is in her 80s and lives alone. She also speaks no English and doesn't have a clue how to navigate menus, deal with wireless networks or login into Skype. I will spare you the time of reading the full review - this appliance rocks and I am so very glad I took the chance.

For the rest of you here is what I found to be cool -

1. I didn't need to read the instructions. Just insert the batter, plug in the AC connector and push the power button - it boots in less then 30 seconds and your greeted with an easy to use setup wizard.

2. Enter your default language, selected your date/time region and country.

3. It will automatically find wireless networks in your home or office and auto-detect the security type. So you just need to select your network and enter passkey.

4. Enter your Skype account information or create one from scratch. It will then ask if you want to "auto-login" and if so going forward you will always be logged in automatically - which is a nice feature for the elderly.

That's it - you are Skyping.

It also does voice recognition so to dial a number you can navigate the contacts or press and hold the "dial" button and then say "Call xxxx" and it will find and dial that person.

I tested this device with a Mac and Windows laptop as well as with the iPhone 4 Skype app. It all worked the first time - both placing and receiving calls. The video quality was very good, worked well under low light, but some light is helpful. The sound is good and clear. Overall I am very happy with it - to the point I will get another one from more home office and minimize the clutter.

I purchased this unit for my 88 year old father who is in a nursing facility 2500 miles away. The facility has WiFi, but dad is just not capable of operating a laptop computer or even an iPad. This unit was the perfect solution. The screen is clear and the audio is very good with no echo. When any family members want to call him, he sets the unit on his lap and answers the call. We preset the unit so that it always starts his video whenever he answers the call, so operation is literally a single button press for him.

For most of us, running Skype on a modern computer or tablet will do the same thing. But for people like my father who just can't operate a computer, this is an ideal product. It requires a high speed internet connection, and the initial setup will require someone who is at least familiar with setting up a computer. But once it's set up, it can be used by anyone.

Starts off as a great product. Very easy to set up and works very well. After you use it for about 5 hours (over the course of a month) it works less and less. I am not sure what goes wrong with these things but from the forums I know we are not the only ones with this model. After some time, you conversations will start cutting short at 20 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes then 1 or 2 minutes if you are lucky. The more you use it the more problems you will have with it. You will have to restart the machine every time before you use it. Also it will go offline by itself so people can't call you. We have to call on the telephone to ask my wive's parents to turn it on. Then it is 5 to 20 minutes until they are able to get it working, if at all.
Also, the phone card that comes with it expired already. So the phone you are getting has been sitting in the box for at least 2 years.

I bought the McKlein W Series Lake Forest bag in red and a laptop as a gift for my wife recently. My wife is fashionable and likes vibrant colors and high quality products. The bag does meet those requirements, but barely funcitons as a computer bag. With the protective insert, I was not able to fit a 15" wide screen laptop in the bag. Without the protective padding insert, the laptop barely fits. Once you get the laptop in, there isn't much room for anything else. A mouse, power cords, some pens, and a folder seem to stuffed in order to fit. My wife was primarily using it for school, so she also needed another bag for books and additional papers. The bag is also fairly heavy, but not so much that it's a turnoff. Just keep this in mind if you are travelling. This bag might be perfect for you if you have a small computer or iPad and don't plan to carry too many items. It most likely will not work to double as a computer bag and purse.

Love this case. It is spacious and allows for easy storage of your laptop and various accessories. It is made from very high quality leather which only adds to its value as it should last a long time. This item looks professional while being feminine at the same time. A good choice for any female professional. My only minor issue with this case is that sometimes I have to take out the padded sleeve because sometimes the laptop doesn't slide smoothly into the sleeve. I highly recommend this product and am glad I bought it.

This arrived before the arrival date, and I was so excited! It's very sturdy and well made. I walk 2 miles to work every day (and 2 miles back) and it's comfortable and holds up well. Several books and a mac and all my toiletry type items fit if I need to. People have given me compliments (I got one of the blue ones). When I have more money I'm going to buy a little change purse from them to put into the bag!

This is a great hard drive. It works perfectly in my MacBook Pro 5,1 (late 2008). I'm running a dual-boot system with Mac OS X 10.6 and Ubuntu 11.04. No issues with the dual-boot system.

The drive definitely increases the boot-up speed but I am not sure I would call it "SSD-like." It's nowhere near as fast as a full SSD but is definitely faster than a standard SATA hard drive. It used to take about 3 minutes from start-up to a useable system. That time has been cut to about 1:45 and I no longer see a beach-ball during boot-up. Once booted, I have not experienced an increase in speed.

If you are looking to upgrade from a smaller hard drive to a 500GB hard drive, I would spend the extra $30. If you already have a 500GB and want to get "SSD-like" speeds I would recommend passing on a hybrid drive. The increase in speed is not worth $130. Especially if you keep your system running most of the time.
